Ingredients:
- 1 lb green beans, ends trimmed and cut in half
- 1 lb plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- salt
- pepper
Directions:
- Bring a pot of water, well salted, to a boil. Drop in the green beans and boil for 5 min. After done run under cold water to cool down.
- In a skillet melt butter and olive oil and saute half of the garlic for about 2-3 min.
- Add green beans and fry for another 5 min.
- For the sauce- mix yogurt and rest of garlic until smooth. Add juice from half a lemon and mix in well.
- Serve while hot with sauce on top. Garnish with black pepper if desired.
- Enjoy!
That sounds tasty. I wouldn't think to do anything like this, but it sounds (and looks) like something I'd like to try :)
