Green Beans With Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb green beans, ends trimmed and cut in half
  • 1 lb plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt
  • pepper
Directions:
  1. Bring a pot of water, well salted, to a boil. Drop in the green beans and boil for 5 min. After done run under cold water to cool down.
  2. In a skillet melt butter and olive oil and saute half of the garlic for about 2-3 min.
  3. Add green beans and fry for another 5 min.
  4. For the sauce- mix yogurt and rest of garlic until smooth. Add juice from half a lemon and mix in well.
  5. Serve while hot with sauce on top. Garnish with black pepper if desired.
  6. Enjoy!

    That sounds tasty. I wouldn't think to do anything like this, but it sounds (and looks) like something I'd like to try :)
