Tasty Tuesday - Fried Cauliflower With Sauce

Fried Cauliflower With Sauce

Ingredients:


  • 1 head of cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 4 table spoons flour 
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 oz mozzarela (shredded on very small pieces)
  • oil
  • salt


Sauce:

  • 1 yogurt (plain)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)


Directions:

  1. Bring water to boil add a teaspoon of salt. Put the cauliflower florets  and return to boil. Boil for about 5 min.
  2. Coat the boiled pieces of cauliflower with flour, dip in egg and coat with some cheese.
  3. Preheat oil and fry them until golden-brown.
  4. For the sauce mix the yogurt and the crushed garlic.
  5. Serve warm and cover with the yogurt sauce.
  6. Enjoy!

  4. I am always at a loss at what to do with cauliflower. Deep frying definitely is the answer! Can't wait to try this when I'm staring at my next head of cauliflower :)
