Tasty Tuesday - Beer Cookies
Beer Cookies
Ingredients:
- 17 ounce/500 gr flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup beer
- powder sugar
- vanilla powder
Directions:
- Combine flour, baking soda, oil and beer in a mixing bowl
- Mix together well to make a dough. Add more flour as needed (personally I added about 7 ounce/200 gr more)
- Keep kneading the dough as long as it takes until it is nice and smooth (you should know that it will always seem a little bit oily but don't over-do with the flower)
- Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness
- Cut out the cookies with a small round cookie cutter or use a shot glass
- Place them in a baking dish (with no butter or wax paper) and bake them on 390F/200C until they are golden brownish on both sides.
- Mix the powder sugar and the vanilla powder in a big bowl, drop the ready cookies in while still warm and cover them with the sugar
